Hello Michelle, I actually had a blog already with google and only posted to it once with a poem that I wrote. I am a little nervous about blogging too. I watched the videos on the commoncraft website from Kathryn's page: Blogs in "Plain English" and "Podcast in Plain English". They set my mind a little at ease. I think the challenge with blogs and podcast for me is maintaining communication. I am so busy with school, work and family that it's challenging to keep up with that alone. I rarely sign into my facebook. Do you have a facebook?
Hello KB, I feel exactly the same way- I also have a facebook but my friends and family tease me because I never have time to look at it. This is my 1st time creating a blog but I like the idea of it-just wish I had more time to use it. I also viewed the videos on setting my blog up which were helpful- your blog page looks great! Michelle :)
Michelle, I am like you. The whole blog idea is a little scary at first, but it's certainly getting easier as I work my way around the program. I have learned how to subscribe to our comment feeds as well as our post feeds, but I am frustrated that only edublog sites seem to allow you to RSS comment feeds. I set up my account on BLOGSPOT which lacks that capability (or at least I have not been able to figure it out yet).
Computers are the root of all evil!
